There’s new hope for preventing and spreading viruses, and it’s not another vaccine.

The patented NOVACC device is designed to be THE solution for eliminating respiratory viruses by preventing both infection and transmission.

When the COVID virus attacked the world following the initial outbreak in December 2019, the rush was on to find not only a cure but an effective way to prevent it. As of January 2022, neither has been achieved.

Vaccine options that were first introduced in late 2020 seemed to be a promising development, and the hope was that a solution had been found for this worldwide pandemic. Indeed there is evidence that it has reduced the rate of infection and minimized the severity of illness for some. However, many can’t or won’t take the vaccine. In spite of vaccines, as well as quarantines, mask-wearing, and social isolation (such as the closing of schools, businesses and others), the virus remains rampant. Additionally, with every mutation of the virus, it appears new booster vaccines may be needed.

The Global Center for Medical Innovation is the U.S. proving ground for global medical innovation. Their mission is to help direct the development, testing, training and commercialization of innovative medical products that improve quality-based outcomes and delivery of healthcare for patients.

Now there’s a patented solution in development that promises greater opportunity to not only prevent, but stop COVID and other respiratory viruses, according to nationally renowned organizations such as the Global Center for Medical Innovation.

While engineered primarily as an effective solution to the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID), the resulting product and its proprietary technology are designed and engineered to be effective against ALL respiratory viruses (SARS, H1N1, MERS, Influenza, COVID, and potentially future respiratory viruses yet to be identified).

Novacc is a portfolio company of the Center for MedTech Excellence at the Georgia Institute of Technology
